Passports for under 18's
Every child regardless of age must have his/her own passport.
However, children under 15, who are already endorsed in a parent’s passport, may still be able to travel with that parent to some countries.
You are advised to verify this with the
e
mbassy of each individual country
before travelling.

a) Your child's original birth certificate
and two
copies (
both
parents' names must appear on the
certificate)
.

The parent living in Denmark must go to Borgerservice (passport issuing office) or the parent living outside Ireland or Denmark must go to the embassy/consulate in their country of residence to give consent by filling in a consent form for the child in Ireland to get a Danish passport.
c) Both parents' passports for verification of signatures.
d) Parents’ original marriage certificate (if the father is the only Danish national).
